We are currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Solar Site Surveyor who can play a crucial role in our renewable energy projects. As a Solar Site Surveyor, your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive site assessments, gathering data, and analyzing information to ensure the successful design and implementation of solar energy systems. Your expertise will be vital in the efficient and accurate planning of solar installations, optimizing energy production, and ensuring overall project success.
Responsibilities
• Perform solar site assessments for potential customers using a smartphone and surveying equipment. The surveys must be completed and the information should be uploaded on time
• Switch on the solar system after installation is finished and gather feedback from the customer
• Efficiently manage your schedule to finish several time-sensitive tasks daily
• Occasionally, obtain permits and arrange inspections
• Examine land boundaries and property lines by researching previous land records, legal descriptions, survey records, land titles, and other documentation
• Produce documentation for official property boundaries for plots, deeds, leases, and other legal documents
• Stake clearing boundaries and reference points on-site, check as-built conditions, and perform layout work
Qualifications
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to climb a ladder and work on a steep sloped roof
• Must use safety equipment per protocol
• Must be willing to get in attics
• Must be willing to work on your feet for long periods of time
• Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance
• Must be able to maintain continual improvement
• Must be willing to work outside during all 4 seasons of the year
• Travel with company vehicle, required
• Good vehicle background and driver's license, required
• Experience in construction and/or roofing, preferred
