Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented, experienced, and licensed HVAC installation technician to join our company. You'll be responsible for visiting homes and businesses, assessing blueprints, codes, and manuals to install a variety of HVAC equipment. You'll also be asked to install heating, cooling, indoor air quality, refrigerant, and control systems. The ideal candidate has the technical skills to install, troubleshoot, and diagnose all equipment, and is an effective problem solver and communicator. Ready to join our growing HVAC company? Responsibilities

• Water Source Heat Pump systems (Horizontal and Vertical)
• Mechanical yards, Cooling towers (40 to 250+ tons) Boilers, Pumps, VFD's
• Chillers, Air, and Water Cooled (small to large)
• Piping systems. Condenser water, chill water, hot water, refrigeration, condensate
• Ventilation systems: Conditioned Single pass or 100% outside air (OA), Exhausted Systems (general, environmental, chemical, process)
• All installations, repairs, and maintenance
• 4 Pipe systems. Chill water/Heating hot water. Units, piping systems
• All rooftop package DX and conventional split systems
• VRF or VRV (variable refrigerant system) Heat recovery full installation. (certifications are a bonus)
• VAV (Variable air volume): VAV units, heating hot water systems
• Duct System: Crimp, S&D, TDC, Coated PVS, Stainless Steel
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication
• Maintain records of completed projects and parts used
• Advise clients on how to properly maintain their new equipment
• Attach pipes or tubing from the fuel, water, or refrigerant source to HVAC equipment
• Inspect all pipes, tubing joints, and connections for leaks
• Set up all heating, air conditioning, air quality, refrigeration, and control systems

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must have EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification
• Attended HVAC school for degree and 2+ years of field experience as an HVAC installer
• Strong math, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Working knowledge of low voltage electrical wiring and high voltage connections
