JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is seeking Expressions of Interest from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with Trades backgrounds to work Offshore in the Oil & Gas industry. Opportunity to FIFO from Boorloo (Perth) / Larrakia (Darwin) is available but ideally you will be based in, or be from the following country:

  • Larrakia (Darwin)
  • Yawuru (Broome)
  • Jaru, Kija and Gooniyandi (Halls Creek)
  • Nyikina, Warwa, Nimanburu (Derby)
  • Kadjerong, Doolboong, Miriwoong, Ngarinyin, Kwini (Wyndham)


RESPONSIBILITIES

Apply if you are from one of the following Trades:

  • E&I Technicians
  • Mechanical Technicians
  • Scaffolder / Riggers Advanced
  • Pipe Fitters

QUALIFICATIONS

You will have:

  • A relevant Trade Qualification
  • A personal and professional commitment to safety
  • An ability to communicate well at all levels
  • An ability to pass offshore medical


Tickets: You will already have the following OR be ready to complete for this opportunity

  • MSIC
  • Current TBOSIET or BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS
  • Escape Chute (an advantage)
  • Gas Test Atmosphere (an advantage)
  • Working at Heights (preferred within 2 years)
  • Confined Space (preferred within 2 years)
