JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is currently recruiting for an IT Application Support specialist with relevant technical experience preferably working internationally in the oil & gas or relevant industry.

The position is based onshore in Equatorial Guinea.

The normal working rotation as an international rotator is 10 weeks in country / 3 weeks rotational leave.

The expected duration is a maximum of 2 years and for expats only.

Main duties include;
Ensures that the Information Technology (IT) assets, primarily
Applications, are used and operated in a safe and secure manner which provides value to the Company while maintaining corporate IT standards.
Develop and provides support for applications issues by aiding end-users.

RESPONSIBILITIES

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Collaborates with internal teams to collect, analyze, and interpret data for ongoing projects.
2 Develop and maintain automated data processes using programming languages such as Python or SOL
3 Design and implement data visualization dashboards and reports to provide insights into key metrics.
4. Assist in the development, maintenance, and optimization of databases and data models.
5 Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
6. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems andworkflows.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

Relevant Degree

Industry Experience and Knowledge

• Strong SharePoint development experience
• Strong background in .Net and C# in SharePoint environments
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, R, or Java
• Experience with SOL and database management
• Strong understanding of data analysis techniques, statistical modeling, and reporting.
• Training in Microsoft SharePoint (Preferred)
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, including site creation, maintenance, and data integration.
• Ability to automate workflows and create custom data-driven solutions within SharePoint.
• Experience using SharePoint as a collaborative platform for team documentation and data sharing.
