Mountain Engineering is seeking experienced candidates to support PG&E's Gas, Transmission, Routine and Wood Management Vegetation Programs. The Field Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting operational efficiency within a dynamic field environment. Their responsibilities encompass gathering, organizing, and cataloging information and equipment to maintain project organization. They are also pivotal in monitoring contractor compliance with rigorous PG&E standards via ISN, providing essential administrative support to project leadership, and generating detailed reports that keep PG&E leadership well-informed. Their ability to promptly deliver data and disseminate crucial information contributes significantly to the successful execution of projects.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Field Administrator gathers and disseminates information, catalogs equipment, and maintains organization.
  • Monitor ISN to ensure all VM Contractors are compliant within PG&E standards.
  • Provide administrative support for leadership, PG&E Representative, and/or PG&E Contract Project Manager.
  • Gather and disseminate information, catalogs and equipment.
  • Maintain organization of the project.
  • Provide data as requested.
  • Create reports for PG&E leadership.
  • Disseminate information as required.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Associate degree.
  • Strong administrative acumen.
  • Three (3) years of work experience in an administrative support role.
  • Experience in field environment.
  • Approval by PG&E Representative.

Work Location

The office location will be determined and strategically placed to cover the geographic service territory identified by the PG&E Representative.

Physical Demands

Sitting for long periods of time working at the computer or driving to job sites. Job site visits require walking on uneven ground, climbing, bending, stooping, and crawling in confined or enclosed spaces. Some lifting of materials and equipment up to 50 lbs. Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. May work long hours during peak seasons.

Work Environment

Typical office environment with adequate temperatures and lighting, low levels of noise. Exposed to the conditions of job sites which can include loud noise, dust, fumes, and extreme weather conditions prevalent at the time. May work various shifts or hours, including early mornings, dusk or evenings.
