Logistic Manager (m/f/d) Central Europe

Your role and responsibilities

For our location in Heidelberg, we are looking for a committed manager who, as head of operational operational logistics in warehouse management. In this role you will assume direct technical and disciplinary management of a motivated team of approx. 90 employees and consistently develop your team. In addition to intercultural sensitivity and good English, you will also need practical logistics know-how. Our logistics are currently being aligned with the latest SAP EWM warehouse management system in order to prepare the way for subsequent partial automation. • Leading, motivating and developing a multicultural team • Continuous optimization of daily workflows and processes • Prudent planning of personnel deployment - always adapted to current requirements • Ensuring that customer orders are processed on a daily basis • Actively helping to design new processes and integrate new software and hardware • Achieving the agreed targets and key figures with regard to divisional and corporate strategy

Qualifications for the role

• Completed studies in industrial engineering, logistics or comparable training, e.g. based on master craftsman training
• Very good knowledge of logistics and several years of proven experience in managing operational units
• Experience in digitalization and SAP round off the profile
• Very good knowledge of German and English
