Candidate Profile

  • You enroll your last year of a Master's Degree in Engineering or Finance
  • Strong operational and data visualisation skills with the ability to implement those using commonly used tools - Alteryx, Python and PBI.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, especially in energy markets and in a broader economical field.
  • A team player who works well with internal team(s), partners and external stakeholders.
  • Forward-looking individual with the ability to work autonomously while being well organised.
  • Fluent in English and secondary language is nice to have - French, Spanish and Italian.
  • A tri-partite internship agreement is mandatory

The fast-paced trading environment requires the jobholder to be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team. The position requires strong communication skills within the team, externally and with other departments within the organisation. Both industry and contractual deadlines need to be respected to meet all of the company's obligations. Reporting and monitoring obligations per the Dodd-Frank Act, EMIR, Sarbanes-Oxley Act and to comply with other rules & regulations require diligence and attention to detail.

Your responsabilites:

As an Energy Data Portfolio Intern, your main responsibilities will be the following:
  • Ensuring allocation data is received in a timely manner and communicating to TSO/DSO on allocation issues while comparing, checking, and cleaning verified data the accuracy daily and proper reflection in the energy data hub and ETRM.
  • Reading and understanding market specifications on system operator data with products managed by the business as it relates to imbalance calculation.
  • Analysing system operator data against client contracts to help identify data anomalies and inconsistencies.
  • Assisting and building with Energy Data Portfolio Analyst dashboards, reports and alerts on system operator allocation data quality as it relates to reconciliation and settlements.
  • Producing key performance measures and indicators around data quality of assets.
  • Updating procedures to ensure clarity and feasibility of process reference.
