Senior Data Analyst for Product Security
The Product Security team has been tasked with driving process and technology changes to improve the security of the products and service offerings across Honeywell.
The Senior Data Analyst for Product Security reports to the Product Security Analytics Leader and will be responsible for establishing comprehensive Product Security dashboards, along with managing the supporting infrastructure, to support organizational goals.
The successful candidate in the position can work from any core HTS location.
Responsibilities
• Elicit and manage data reporting requirements with key stakeholders
• Extract data from various sources using APIs or DB queries
• Design and implement dashboards based on transformed data
• Present dashboards to key stakeholders to facilitate decision making process
• Drive changes in Product Security tools to improve collection of security data
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering, electrical engineering or equivalent
• Experience with data transformation techniques (knowledge of data architecture, data quality, data mapping, and data structures)
• Experience with software development and validation
• Passion for effective communication of quantitative data
• Knowledge and practical experience of JIRA, Excel, Tableau
• Experience with cloud technologies like Azure/AWS.
• Strong programming knowledge in Python, SQL
• Building and developing ETL Data Pipelines from various sources
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts
• Ability to travel worldwide ca. 10%
Additional Qualifications
• Knowledge of AWS glue, Amazon S3 buckets
Knowledge and practical experience of Subversion, Accolade•
• Data visualization tools like Power BI and Amazon Quicksight
SQL query skills
• Technical experience in the software security field
• Understanding and knowledge of IT principles and processes
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Certifications in security and privacy demonstrating deep practical knowledge such as CSSLP or CISSP
Additional Qualifications
• Familiarity with at least one data analysis programming / scripting language (R, Python, PowerQuery, etc)
• Knowledge and practical experience of Subversion, Accolade
• SQL query skills
• Technical experience in the software security field
• Understanding and knowledge of IT principles and processes
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Certifications in security and privacy demonstrating deep practical knowledge such as CSSLP or CISSP
