As a ChemicalEngineer II at Honeywell, you will leverage your expertise in chemicalprocess engineering to drive the development of cutting-edge solutions thataddress the dynamic needs of our customers. In this role, you will design andoptimize chemical manufacturing processes, applying your deep understanding ofchemistry, biology, physics, and mathematics to tackle complex challenges inthe production of chemicals, fuels, pharmaceuticals, food, and more. You willplay a pivotal role in advancing Honeywell's product portfolio, from conceptand prototype stages through to market launch. U.S.PERSON REQUIREMENT:
Dueto compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must bea U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident,or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have theability to obtain an export authorization.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:
• Provide day to day support for chemical manufacturing processes
• Lead improvement initiatives
• Monitor performance of processes throughout production
• Troubleshoot problems with various unit operations
• Conduct analysis and prepare reports
• Design experiments
• Gather estimates of the cost of production
• Lead productivity projects
• Develop scope for capital improvements
• Maintain engineering documents

In October, 2024 Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a stand-alone publicly traded company, independent of Honeywell. Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs.

YOU MUST HAVE:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

WE VALUE:
• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or engineering
• Relevant experience in manufacturing or engineering
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and mathematics
• Ability to focus on key details and important information
• Competence in following guidelines to ensure task efficiency
• A keen interest in chemistry and chemical processes
• Project and resource management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
