Business Manager - Commercial&Portfolio

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement the service strategy and drive service growth at the respective unit level. Each day, you will lead the Service organization and be responsible for the P&L to achieve performance targets and to optimize the utilization of Service resources. You will also showcase your expertise by running the day-to-day service business to ensure profitable growth and improvement of service productivity. This role is contributing to the Motion Service division in Belgium and Luxemburg as part of our Central European organization. Main stakeholders are the Country Motion Manager and the Motion Service Area Manager. In this role you will operate from our headquarter in Belgium and the local service center both located in Zaventem / Diegem. You will be mainly accountable for: • Creating and driving implementation of service strategy as a member of the management team. • Ensuring that strategic plans are implemented consistently in the service organization through collaboration with other businesses. • Driving, implementing, reporting, and monitoring of performance targets as part of the respective unit P&L (financial, productivity, investments, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, etc.). • Investing in improving the quality of existing service products and in developing new service products to expand the portfolio in line with global direction. • Driving continuous improvement of field service quality, enabling a first-time-right implementation. • Steering performance of the field service activities by following up on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and driving corrective actions based on them.

Qualifications for the role

  • You enjoy working with the relevant tools and methodologies of our Service division and the development of the Industrial market;
  • Ability to demonstrate your experience in a relevant service environment
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Sales Force and SAP knowledge is an advantage
  • You are passionate about working with different dynamics of your team and manage your team to uplift them to a higher level.
  • Have a demonstrated track record in negotiations with different levels of decision makers in an industrial environment.
  • You are at ease communicating in Dutch, French and English
