The Contract Manager will be responsible for overseeing the contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and managing relationships with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders. This role requires strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Contract development: Assist in the development, review, and negotiation of contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors involved in the project.
- Contract administration: Manage and administer all contracts throughout the project lifecycle, including change orders, claims, and dispute resolution.
- Subcontractor management: Oversee the performance of subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions, and resolving any issues or disputes.
- Payment processing: Review and approve subcontractor invoices for payment, ensuring that all payments are made in accordance with contract terms and project budgets.
- Risk management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts, including contract disputes, delays, and cost overruns.
- Legal compliance: Ensure that all contractual activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation, including contract agreements, change orders, and correspondence.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with project stakeholders, including the project manager, owner, and subcontractors, regarding contract-related matters.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and procurement teams to ensure contract terms are aligned with company policies and objectives.
- Monitor contract performance and address any issues or disputes that arise.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills with previous team leadership experience.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external design teams, including planning and managing the collaboration process.
- Participate in project meetings and presentations to present BIM progress and clash detection reports.
- Liaise with design teams, project managers, and clients to ensure project goals are met.
- Ability to prioritise workload, work to deadlines, and manage effectively under pressure.
Profile
- Experience with B360, ACC, Navisworks Manage, Revit, and AutoCAD.
- Excellent understanding of Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) services.
- Ability to coordinate MEP services within a 3D modelling environment.
- Experience working in a data center design environment (advantageous).
- Proficiency in G Suite applications (advantageous).
- Experience working in a global business environment (advantageous).
- Proficiency in French and English.
