This position reports to

Plant Manager

Your role and responsibilities

As the Team Leader Procurement & Material Mgmt, you will have the opportunity to lead supply planning, inventory management, and resource management for the regional distribution center or local sales organization. Each day, you will lead planning initiatives to improve on-time delivery and lead times for customers. You will also demonstrate your expertise by ensuring compliance with inventory and supply plans. The work model for this position is: On-site. This role contributes to the Electrification and Installation Products division in Pointe-Claire. Your main responsibilities will include: - Managing the site's supply planning process and leading a team of 2 planners - Providing visibility on supply capacity and local supply objectives in the sales and operations planning process - Managing a short-term planning process or a sales and operations execution process, ensuring perfect alignment between planning and execution - Supporting the profitable execution of customer orders, in coordination with commercial functions and supply units (supplier factories) You will join a dynamic, talented, and high-performing team where you can thrive.

Qualifications for the role

  • Degree in engineering, administration or related field
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role, in a manufacturing environment
  • Bilingual in French and English. English is required to communicate with customers outside Quebec
  • Knowledge of Excel, Office, SAP, ERP systems, KBM
  • Knowledge of materials management
  • Passion for optimizing planning and inventories, team management and project management
