Job Overview

Experienced Rotary Steerable System Supervisor to lead and oversee the repair and maintenance operations for our Level II RSS R&M Workshop. This key role is responsible for supervising and performing the repair and maintenance activities, ensuring efficient operations, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and provide supervision for RSS R&M service personnel and teams at the Workshop.
  • Manage personnel resources, plan for changes, forecast personnel levels, and collaborate with management to review available resources and select recruits.
  • Develop and track the training progress and competencies of RSS Workshop personnel, actively participating in promotion reviews, training planning, and annual objective reviews.
  • Prioritize equipment repairs and tool builds in collaboration with RSS Coordinators to meet local demand and delivery requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve procedures, systems, and equipment for existing and developing Drilling Services technologies.
  • Ensure adherence to quality management systems, accurate record-keeping, and compliance with safety rules and company policies.
  • Promote a safe and healthy workplace, enforce safety precautions, and attend mandatory safety meetings.

Skills:
  • Strong communication, organizing, troubleshooting, and multi-tasking abilities, especially under pressure.
  • Positive attitude, self-discipline, and self-motivation.
  • Thorough knowledge of Drilling Services products and services.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Technical background with previous experience in Weatherford Drilling Services.

Qualifications:
  • Five years of hands-on experience in an oilfield R&M environment where RSS products are serviced.
  • R&M Lead Technician - RSS II Competencies.
  • Technical degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
