Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Operations Specialist to join our EMEA Operations team on a temporary assignment, supporting the LenelS2 EMEA business. This role is critical in leading and facilitating our ERP migration from Oracle to SAP, as part of our integration into Honeywell's IT platforms and ecosystem (following our recent acquisition). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, in-depth knowledge of supply chain processes and a solid understanding of ERP systems, particularly Oracle and SAP.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in transforming our Operations and aligning them with a world-class IT infrastructure. The assignment will last a minimum of 1 year, with the potential for extension based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
ERP Migration Leadership:
Lead and manage the migration of our EMEA ERP system from Oracle to SAP, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to business operations
Project Management:
Plan, execute and oversee all aspects of the ERP migration project, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management and stakeholder communication
Process Alignment & Optimization:
Ensure all supply chain processes (planning, sourcing, logistics, transportation, customer service, ...) are effectively aligned with the new ERP system. Identify opportunities for process improvement during and after the migration
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with internal stakeholders, including cross-functional teams within the supply chain, IT and customer service departments, to ensure successful ERP implementation and full operational integration
System Testing & Validation:
Oversee system testing and validation to ensure the new SAP system meets business requirements and that any issues are resolved promptly
Training & Support:
Provide training and ongoing support to relevant team members to ensure smooth adoption of the new SAP system. Assist in developing documentation and training materials
Qualifications & Skills
Project Management Expertise:
Proven experience in leading large-scale projects, preferably ERP migrations, within a manufacturing or industrial setting
Supply Chain Knowledge:
Strong foundation in supply chain processes, including planning, sourcing, logistics, transportation and customer service
ERP Expertise:
Hands-on experience working with ERP systems, specifically Oracle and SAP. Understanding of the intricacies of migrating between systems is highly desirable
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Strong ability to work cross-functionally, fostering collaboration across various departments whilst embracing change
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong analytical skills with a keen ability to troubleshoot, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions during the ERP migration process
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing or supply chain-focused organization
Previous experience in an acquisition environment with a transition into new IT platforms
