Talen Energy is soliciting candidates interested in filling the position of Refuel Floor Project Manager at the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station located near Berwick, Pennsylvania.

Job Description

The purpose of this job is to manage a variety of activities in support of the Refuel Floor with minimal supervision. The incumbent works as an individual contributor with latitude for unreviewed action or decisions and may lead functional teams or projects. The individual in this position also provides technical guidance and direction to the Refuel Floor team in support of producing high quality, timely and cost-effective solutions to ensure Refuel Floor preparedness. This person is responsible for benchmarking department performance and supports change management within the department.

This position will oversee all activities relating to the Refuel Floor including but not limited to the following:

• Planning and support shift work for Refuel Floor projects and activities
• DFS, Refuel outage, new fuel receipt, fuel pool cleanout, fuel exams, etc.
• Scheduling of refuel floor projects and activities
• Coordination of training for Refuel floor personnel
• Coordination of Refuel floor activities with all support groups
• Back up to the Refueling Support Lead
• Technical review of all Refuel floor related procedures
• Contract review and generation

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technical/Non-engineering/non-technical

OR

• 5-7 years of related experience
• Minimum 3 years of BWR nuclear plant experience with industry knowledge of programs, policies, and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, presentation, communication, and technical skills including the ability to interface with other work groups at various levels within the organization
• Knowledgeable of the station's physical plant design and construction
• Strong computer skills (including Microsoft office software package) are required in the performance of daily work activities
• Knowledgeable of labor agreement
