Overview:
Reports directly to the Shift Foreman. The crewperson works in various operational roles throughout the coating plant including thermoclean, pre-bake and final bake, bullet nosing, blasting operations, priming, topcoat and other roles designated by the Shift Foreman.

Overview:
Reports directly to the Shift Foreman. The crewperson works in various operational roles throughout the coating plant including thermoclean, pre-bake and final bake, bullet nosing, blasting operations, priming, topcoat and other roles designated by the Shift Foreman.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thermoclean, Bake, blasting, coating and other liquid and powder coating operations per the NOV Tuboscope Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform all assignments, duties and tasks in a safe manner while following standard operating procedures.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain critical control points to ensure excellent process and product quality.
- Set up and dial in equipment accordingly per work order.
- Communicate and coordinate all pertinent information to appropriate Foreman/Supervisor/ Manager to ensure effective and safe operations.
- Performing quality checks throughout production runs.
- Inform the Foreman/Supervisor/ Manager or his designee of any interruptions or irregularities in the production line.
- Follow all Company HSE, QMS policies and procedures and report to the appropriate personnel of any violations of these policies or procedures.
- Record and QMS Reports or daily production reports as instructed by Shift Foreman and SOP.
- Perform other various job duties that may be required by the Foreman/Supervisor/ Manager or their designees.
Job Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude as demonstrated by prior experience.
- Ability to think ahead, anticipate problems, make decisions
- Self-motivated towards productivity improvements, quality, and safety awareness.
- Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation.
- Willing to work overtimes, weekends and some holidays as needed.
- Flexible and able to accept and respond to multi-task assignments quickly, readily, and safely.
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Experience:
- Prior coating and sand blasting experience preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 year of related experience desirable
