Job Description:

• Responsible for providing quality care of perioperative patients. Maintains safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors; properly functioning equipment; and availability of equipment, supplies and drugs. Assists and informs physicians of relevant information. Maintains patient treatment area with a coordinated, efficient surgical schedule and team for emergent and scheduled procedures.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program required. Surgical Technologist training though the United States Military may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Certification/Registration/Licensure: Surgical technologist certification preferred.
• Experience: If military trained, 2 years of experience required.
