Machine Learning / AI Intern (bachelor's degree)

We have an opportunity for an AI/ML Intern to join us at Honeywell in Krakow, you will work with customers to understand problems that need analytics or AI/ML solutions to improve efficiencies, gather requirements for defining features and functions and work within our technology development teams to develop the best set of algorithms and software architectures to implement those ideas and learn about different aspects of software development.

This role is part of our University Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell.

The AI/ML Accelerator Programme aims to enhance the Honeywell Forge product portfolio by researching advanced technologies like the Internet of Things, Scalability, Resiliency, and Self-Healing through Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.

Key responsibilities:
  • You will be working in a truly global team with exposure to diverse business areas across regions.
  • Meet with decision-makers, system owners, and end-users to define business requirements
  • Conduct research on software products and solutions to make quality recommendations
  • Participate in design sessions and prototyping solutions
  • Work on research projects using scientific methodologies and document progress and results

Key skills and qualifications
  • A student pursuing a master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Data Science/Analytics, specializing in AI/ML.
  • Mindset for building self-learning & closed loops AI/ML solutions
  • Knowledge of data engineering, model training and deploying them for inference
  • Completed modules and implemented projects in some of the following: (Machine Learning and Deep Learning, Computer Vision , ime Series analytics, Natural Language Processing, Generative AI
  • Good written and spoken English
