JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks in such a way as to reduce environment and health risks.
• Pursue professional development within own discipline/area,
• Report deviations, suggest improvements to the company QM system.
• Support the Lead Designer / Lead Engineer / Engineering Manager in development and implementation of the Strategy outlined for the Design Department.
• Participate in the Company's development, implementation, and other commercial Tender activities according to the overall Strategy.
• Have a close coordination with the other discipline Leads, EM and the Project Manager to optimize the project executions and to utilize the various support functions.
• Assist the engineer in development of Engineering deliverables, like different layouts (Cable tray, Instrument Location, Lighting); Hook-up drawing; Single Line Diagram; and others.
• Interface with subcontractors.
• Training and experience transfer of other less experienced engineering personnel.
• Be proactive and Manage schedules and work to tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent degree from recognized university.
• Good Knowledge of International Codes and Standards.
• Background experienced in different specification, Saudi Aramco, ADNOC, KOC, NORSOK, and others.
• Proficient in handling the project operations entailing planning, resource utilization, quality management & manpower management.
• Experience in Scope Review, FEED document review.
• Knowledge of various Communication Protocols.
• Good knowledge in 3D Design Tool (Aveva E3D, PDMS, Smartplant 3D, PDS).
• Work on Onshore Oil and Gas projects within a multi-discipline team environment at all stages from Feasibility to Detailed Engineering and Construction.
• Participating in Design Review and Progress Review meetings.
• Good Knowledge in Checking / review documents and drawings produced before issue.
• Experience in modularized / Skid design of process packages.
• Standardization of Design Procedures and review Check list and Design Guidelines.
