We have an opportunity for an Intern Bachelor/Master - Embedded Software Developer/ - Tester to join our Industrial Automation team at Honeywell in Mainz-Kastel, Germany

Responsibilities:

• Developing Embedded Software for embedded devices
• Evaluation of use cases and requirement management
• Reporting to team lead embedded Software in Gas Technology

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Student in Software, IT, Computer Engineering or related fields
• Fluent in German and English

Skills:

• Eagerness to learn in a dynamic, large-company environment.

• Interest in networking with developers, production, and aftersales teams.

• Strong understanding of embedded systems and a reliable team-oriented mindset.

• Proficiency in embedded software architecture and programming languages like C/C++, Python, Java, or Rust.

• Familiarity with OS Linux and bare-metal implementations.

• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity requirements and the development life cycle.
