About The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Cost Control, you will be responsible for the management and reporting of all costs and revenues associated with your allocated project/s. Analysing financial data, tracking project costs and creating client and management reports to ensure the budgets are met and resources are efficiently allocated.

About The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Cost Control, you will be responsible for the management and reporting of all costs and revenues associated with your allocated project/s. Analysing financial data, tracking project costs and creating client and management reports to ensure the budgets are met and resources are efficiently allocated.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up the project budget/forecasts
- Estimate the impact of changes and modifications on the cost of project
- Provide project support by monitoring and reporting on cost, project progress, invoicing, change control and variations
- Liaise with the discipline Leads, procurement, construction and project management teams
- Conduct analysis on risks and opportunities
- Prepare monthly invoices to the client and follow up works
- Assist procurement on invoices from Subcontractors/Suppliers
- Perform economical analysis, forecasts, deviations reports etc.
- Update cash forecast
- Responsible for the Monthly Project Cost Report and Project Management report
- Some specific tasks will include manpower forecasting, construction/procurement forecasting, budget transfer and variation order register, budget variance formalisation, cost sensitivities analysis and cash flow

About You:
Wed love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:
- Unrestricted Australian working rights
- Full understanding of the principles of cost control, management and project reporting
- 7 + years working in cost control
- Previous project-based cost control experience a strong advantage
- Prior experience working in the Energy industry (desired)
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- A detail minded approach to work with strong cost analysis skills
- Ability to manage deadlines effectively
- Effective interpersonal skills
