Project Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the committed project result. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in San Luis Potosi. You will be mainly accountable for: • Lead the execution of medium/large projects and ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, cost/profitability targets, scheduling targets, and defines jointly with the Project Controls department, all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans. • Ensures that the project follows execution best practices and ABB policies and monitors/controls project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expensesand cash flow. • Identifies, qualifies, quantifies and manages risk, and ensures that all opportunities are identified and pursued. • Ensures that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with ABB policies and contractual agreements. • Acts as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders. • Ensures the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies.

Qualifications for the role

• Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Mehcatronic Engineer or similar.
• 6+ years of experience in project execution for manufacturing industry.
• Advanced English
• SAP Sales Order module experience (transactions)
• Experience handling costumer negotiations and special requirements (Strong communication skills)
• Power BI (desired).
• Electrical industry project management experience (desired)
