Job Description
The mining engineer will assist with projects related to construction materials, including aggregates, limestone, and cement. The mining engineer will also assist in mine planning and site design, preparing technical reports, and project management. The successful candidate will work with senior engineering staff to manage mining-related projects. Domestic travel may be required for visits to client mine sites, as well as client and corporate meetings.

Qualifications
Candidates must have the following:
- Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering or Geological Engineering
- 0 to 5 years of mining engineering work experience; prior experience in construction materials is helpful
- Working knowledge of mining-related software such as AutoCAD Map 3D, Carlson, SURPAC or equivalent, and other commercial packages
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and effective oral and written communication skills
