ABOUT THE ROLE

Weatherford Roma, QLD is currently seeking a Wireline Coordinator to oversee the duties and responsibilities of day-to-day operations of the Wireline yard through the coordination of equipment and personnel; assist the Wireline Operations Supervisor in the daily activity.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise Location Supervisors and Dispatchers.
• Communicate with sales force in securing customer requirements and time frames.
• Prepare quotes.
• Generate Purchase orders.
• Perform credit verification on all customers.
• Assist in preparation of reports.
• Available on a 24 hours call basis to respond to customer needs.
• Recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.
• Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
• Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
• Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
• Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• 5 years of experience in Wireline Operations is essential.
• Experience in Pressure Control, Radiation, Driving, Explosives are highly essential.
• Prior experience as a Coordinator is highly advantageous
• Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and dispatch and track resources in support of job tickets
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Multi-tasking ability

MOBILISATION REQUIREMENTS

• 38-hour work week / potential adhoc roster depending on the operations
• Must be based in Roma, QLD or is willing to relocate to Roma. (Relocation support will be provided by Weatherford aligned with the company policy)
• 15% - 20% for Field Audit purposes, approximately 2 -3 times a month.
• Must be open to drive to visit different fields for audit purposes.
• This is NOT Fly in and Fly out.
• This is NOT Drive in and Drive out.
• Immediate start preferred.
