We are seeking an Associate Construction Manager to join our Kirkland, WA office. The specific role is as a Change Management Specialist, working with a diverse team of professionals for a major design-build transit project in the Seattle area. This individual will be the primary coordinator for change management processes and workflows, as well as related clauses of a design-build contract. The successful candidate must be able to balance simultaneous demands and work in a fast-paced design-build project environment.

How will you contribute to the team?
  • Perform contractual evaluation and/or validation of changes raised by Design-Build Contractor
  • Provide support to the PMT to administer the contract between the Owner and Design-Build Contractor
  • Prepare and present Change Status Reports when required
  • Ensure Contractor is compliant with contract terms and conditions in relation to change management process
  • Prepare documentation for change order negotiations packages
  • Compile full change order packages including justification, executive summary, estimates and check lists
  • Update Oracle Primavera Unifier for revised changes and add new changes to Unifier
  • Prepare, maintain, retrieve, and communicate records, reports, or documents required to meet contractual requirements
  • Coordinate closely with engineering, scheduling, Resident Engineer and construction management teams
  • Update and verify status of existing and new items for the Master Change Log
  • Provide reporting and data from the master change log for client review
  • Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

What will you contribute?
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field and 4 years related experience. With Associate's degree, 12 years of related experience. Without a degree, 14 years related experience is required.
  • Strong hands-on experience with MS Office tools
  • Experience in Oracle Primavera Unifier is an asset
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team with peers, management, Contractor, and Owner
  • Sound Transit experience a plus
  • Highly organized and ability to process multiple changes in parallel
  • Experience in contract administration
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
  • Good knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Willing to work in the client office at least two days per week

Expected compensation range is between $75,000 - $115,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
