Process Specialist Manager (Contract)

On behalf of our client, TWS is searching for a Process Specialist Manager on a fixed-term contract basis to execute operator training, perform home office preparatory works and participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities. The position will report directly to the Head of Process and Technology with an indirect project reporting relationship to the Olefins Section Process Supervisor.
About The Role:
Your main missions and responsibilities will be to ensure licensor operator training in preparation for first time plant commissioning and startup.

About The Role:
Your main missions and responsibilities will be to ensure licensor operator training in preparation for first time plant commissioning and startup.
The main accountabilities and duties include but are not limited to the following.
- Executes and facilitates operator portion of Ethylene licensor operator training at training venues.
- Performs home office preparatory works.
- Be at site during an Ethylene Plant first start-up, guiding the local operating team on how to start-up and operate an Ethylene Plant.
- Contributes to establish a safe HSE climate.
- Provides support to all project activities from engineering to start-up as required,
- Assist in producing procedures, manuals and any other deliverables or tasks to ensure a successful project delivery.
- Participates in pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities.
- Reports own activities within operations management.
About You:

- Master's degree in engineering
- Project Management Professional
- Minimum of 15+ years in ethylene plant operations and extensive plan / operator experience
- Significant experience leading pre-commissioning, commissioning and startup for major petrochemical projects across the globe
- Proven advance working knowledge in complex processes through construction to performance testing of Ethylene and other process plants.
- Ability to travel and work on ad-hoc basis as required in Orange, TX
- Contributes to the team by fundamentally providing training and guidance to others with less operator experience.
- Experiences in previous Technip Energies projects
