Financial Controller (m/f/d)

We are looking for an experienced controller or tax specialist (m/f/d) to independently handle financial accounting, prepare tax returns, and manage quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS & HGB. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of commercial and VAT law, proficiency in MS Excel, and fluency in both German and English.

These tasks await you with us:

• Independent handling of financial accounting incl. asset accounting and partial controllingv
• Preparation of ZM & advance VAT returns; clarification of VAT issues
• Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS & HGB
• Processing of payment transactions and support with group reporting
• Responsibility for the communication of the Shared Service Center

And that makes you:

• Successfully completed studies or commercial training and further training as an accountant or tax specialist
• Sound professional experience and very good knowledge of commercial and VAT law
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel/Pivot; database knowledge an advantage (queries)
• IT affinity, Hands-on mentality & willingness to familiarize yourself with an industry-specific financial accounting system
• Very good German (C1) and English (C1) skills (audit specifications are available in English)
