Airswift has been tasked by one of our major clients to search for an Engineering IT Lead to work on a contract position initially for a 12-months contract in Ingleside, TX

The project is approximately 9 million labor hours with a peak labor force of approximatley 2000 FTE's. The project scope includes the delivery of the following: roads, pads, bridges, airstrip, above ground pipelines/power cables/fiber optic cables, horizontally directionally drilled under river pipeline bores, housing, utilities, warehouses and shops, process modules, piperacks, and all interconnection scope.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Support

o Quality reviews on engineering deliverables (IFA, IFC, IFF, etc...)
o Technical writing and reviews, etc...
o Manage mini projects (create project plan, budget, schedule, manage project to plan

• Data Management

o Quality Reviews on data from multiple sources
o Ensure systems are maintained as data is developed between engineering firms, fabricators, installers, and handover to COPA
o Support data verification and validation activities

• User Management and Support

o Manage user access and requests
o Provide training as needed on project systems and procedures
o Provide Support to users to ensure proper system access and usage

• Engineering support as required to support project deliverables

Qualification Requirements:

Basic / Required:

• Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent experience in Information Management, IT, or similar field
• Microsoft SQL server experience or experience with another SQL language (SSMS preferred)
• Understanding of and experience with databases and Extract Transform and Load (ETL) tools
• Detail oriented and analytical, with the ability to parse data into useable formats
• Knowledge of and experience with sprint type development
• Database Development or DBA experience
• Understanding of server, client, and web application concepts, as well as networking and communication protocols
• Understanding of cyber security concepts and applications
• Strong technical writing skills

Preferred:

• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
• Visual Studio or GitHub experience
• Experience supporting a variety of users in either an Information Management, IT, or customer service environment
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multi-discipline, multi-function project environment with numerous contract packages
• Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments
• Drives thoughtful and pragmatic change, encourages innovative thinking and continuous improvement, and models adaptability through resourcefulness, flexibility, and positivity
