CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT MEP COMP

Airswift is seeking for Construction Superintendent MEP COMP - to work in Qatar with a major Oil & Gas Company.

QUALIFICATION:

• Preferred Engineering Degree\Diploma or relevant on the job experience
• 15 years' overall experience with at least 10 years demonstrated experience in construction of industrial buildings i.e. Administration buildings, Control Rooms, Warehouses with machinery etc.
• Broad and extensive knowledge of construction activities (Mechanical/Piping & Plumbing) design standards, specifications, codes, appropriate safety criteria, operations, with overall responsibility for construction execution of small to medium scale projects.
• Working experience in Qatar and Ras Laffan Industrial City is preferred and Brownfield experience will be an considered as plus.

JOB CONTEXT:

• This position shall provide the Technical and Construction expertise for ONSHORE BUILDINGS & INFRASTRUCTURE COMPRESSION PROJECT - COMP9 which involves Onshore buildings - OCC (Onshore Collaborative Centre) and OLB (Onshore Logistic Base) and associated brownfield works.
• This position is located at RLIC Site to supervise and monitoring the construction activities involved Mechanical & Piping works. To ensure compliance with the approved construction sequence, project requirements and specifications.
• The position shall interact daily with construction team and counterparts in COMP9 Contractor organization.
• Supervision and "work as a team" behaviour and attitude towards COMP9 Contractor and its Subcontractors to achieve Project objectives.
