Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mid-Level Sales Support Contract and Risk Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously. This role requires a proactive approach to contract administration, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. The work model for the role is: Hybrid This role is contributing to the Electrification Business Australia. The role can be based in either Moorebank, NSW or Notting Hill, VIC. You will be mainly accountable for: • Prepare, review, respond to contract terms and conditions tenders and RFQs. Redlining and negotiate contracts with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors with the supervision of Senior Legal Counsel. • Identify and mitigate contractual risks, ensuring compliance with Legal & Integrity and ABB policy requirements. Work closely with internal sales and account teams, including legal, finance, and project management, to ensure alignment and effective contract execution. • Ensuring accuracy and appropriateness of contract text and attachments. Maintain accurate contract records and documentation. • Identify opportunities for process improvements in contract management practices and implement best practices.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in contract negotiations and management, preferably in the engineering or technology industry.
  • Professional certifications in contract management (e.g., CPCM, CFCM) are a plus.
  • Solid grasp of contract law and commercial terms and able to handle multiple contracts and priorities concurrently.
  • Outstanding negotiation and communication skills plus skilled in contract relining, Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.
