JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary:

  • Receiving parts, components and equipment from customers and suppliers.
  • Kitting and issuing parts and component to the service and spares work orders.
  • Check inwards documentation before acceptance of all deliveries before receipt.
  • Receiving and recording purchased parts, components and services in the system.
  • Packing orders according to sales orders and providing weight and dimensions of packed orders to the logistics department.
  • Ensure all received stock is undamaged and order is present and accounted for.
  • Reporting and assessing stock discrepancies.
  • Informing the supervisor about order shortages.
  • Maintaining an orderly workspace by keeping the Stores areas clean, tidy, and free from hazards.
  • Staging orders according to work orders and sales order pick lists.
  • Participating in all relevant warehouse activities.
  • Assisting with the visual inspection of parts as needed.


Secondary:

  • Provide additional support to business when necessary.
  • Any other ad-hoc responsibility assigned by manager.
  • Represent the organisation in a responsible and professional manner.


Educational Qualification:

  • GCE O Level or Higher


Competencies Required

  • Years of experience 2 to 3 years is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Forklift license preferred.
