Primary Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with the business, facilitate the technical competency assessments process.
- Assist the line management with the identification of training needs in accordance with the competence gaps to implement fit-for-purpose learning interventions.
- Design, establish, follow-up and evaluate training programs to develop Nationals into permanent positions.
- Prepare and deliver technical orientation and training as per business requirements.
- Facilitate rotational assignments for new joiners to enable them to understand organizational processes and value chain.
- Prepare periodic progress reports to keep line management and HR informed on the progress and performance of Trainees and Graduates.
- Evaluate, recommend, and initiate the placement of Trainees and Graduates into positions of responsibility following their development.
- Participate in the planning and execution of plant familiarization tours for visitors, summer trainees, etc., in conjunction with concerned departments.
- Maintain competency and training records, update systems, and ensure that records are up to date.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline, graduated from a recognized university
- Certified Trainer
- Certified Workplace Assessor and Internal Verifier will be advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years direct and relevant experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Heavy Manufacturing Industry.
