Your role and responsibilities
Introduction Embedded in the Planning & Fulfillment department, the S&OP Specialist Data Excellence & Processes will play a pivotal role in the newly set up S&OP organization. Acting as the main contact for any statistical forecast related tasks the position will also take care of further improvements to lay a solid data foundation for the following S&OP phases. Objective of the position The S&OP Specialist Data Excellence & Processes provides the necessary data so that adequate decisions can be made during the S&OP cycles. The position also takes care of the regular maintenance of information and its availability on time. Tasks: • Creating statistical Forecast in SAP IBP out of sales history • Data cleansing - correction of statistical failures and outliers, due to peaks, status/lifecycle, missing data, etc • Processing statistical Forecast as baseline for unconstraint sales plan in best quality possible • Providing remastered data and publishing. • Participating in the S&OP preparation meetings monthly for Spoke 2 (sales & PG) • Monitoring and documentation of data movements, assumptions, data cleansing actions • Comparison forecast:forecast and valuing results and additional KPIs if needed • Conduct analyses by using existing Supply Chain Control Tower with focus on Operations and Planning. • S&OP process improvement & development • Collaborate with internal and external partners. • Active contribution to internal projects (e.g., in process enhancements, software implementation). • Collect and define requirements for additional reporting & controlling needs. • Supporting the S&OP Manager in all analytical matters. • Application and master data maintenance in Production Planning.

Qualifications for the role
- Degree in Supply Chain Management & Operations, Controlling, Business Administration or similar discipline.
- >3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Fluent communication skills in German and English language.
- Reliable analytical skills paired with the ability to understand and embrace the complexity of industrial production.
- Good understanding of production process, production planning and S&OP.
- Good understanding of Operations & Planning KPIs and metrics.
- Experience with SAP ERP (mainly PP module), production planning software (e.g., PP/DS) or other supply chain planning software (e.g., SAP IBP) as well understanding of the underlying data structures.
- Experience with the use of a Production or Supply Chain Control Tower or other analysis-driven software.
- Experience with BI/Dashboard tools (e.g., MS Power BI, Tableau).
- Knowledge of MS Office with very good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Database know-how desirable.
- Affinity for new technologies and the drive for independent learning.
- Ability to drive change.
