Responsibilities:
1. Data Collection and Management:
o Utilize Sphera software to gather, compile, and manage data on GHG emissions from various sources, including Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
o Maintain and update GHG inventory databases within the Sphera platform.
2. Analysis and Reporting:
o Perform quantitative analyses and calculations to estimate GHG emissions.
o Prepare detailed reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
o Ensure compliance with relevant standards and protocols
3. Verification and Auditing:
o Conduct internal audits to verify the accuracy of GHG data.
o Coordinate with third-party auditors for external verification processes.
4. Client and Stakeholder Management:
o Communicate findings and recommendations
o Provide support and guidance on GHG reduction strategies and sustainability initiatives.
5. Continuous Improvement:
o Stay updated on the latest developments in GHG accounting and reporting.
o Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve the accuracy and efficiency of GHG inventories.

Required Skills & Experience

2-3+ years of experience with GHG inventory processes utilizing Sphera Essential software, additional years of experience will be considered at a senior level
Expertise in GHG (greenhouse gas) accounting
Knowledge of oil and gas operations or related field (chemicals, utility industry)
Strong data analysis skills and proficiency with Excel
Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or related field
