A need has arisen within the legal department in the company's headquarters near Paris to recruit a M&A lawyer.

Join our M&A Team (3 people), where you will report to and work under the direction of the Deputy General Counsel.

You will have multiple interactions within Schneider Electric: you will work closely with the M&A execution team, as well as other cross-functional groups (sustainability team, consolidation, compliance, export control...).

Your role:

  • Management of M&A transactions, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating non-disclosure agreements, letters of intent, term sheets, purchase agreements, and related ancillary transaction documents ,
  • Managing and performing legal due diligence as well as managing post-closing matters and disputes.


You have:

  • 8-10 years' relevant experience in M&A transactions
  • Ideally, a large law firm experience
  • Strong drafting, negotiating and communications skills required, including the ability to spot key issues and to provide practical business-oriented advice
  • Ability to work effectively both in teams and independently, manage multiple projects at once, make effective decisions and collaborate with internal and external resources
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and work under deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic and challenging environment
  • International mindset and experience of working across borders
