We are looking for an experimented Scrum Master , for Connected Offer LoB , part of Home & Distribution Division. We are developing and managing the end-to-end digital connect ed offer, with Hardware & Software, from Device to C l ould , included Apps! This Scrum Mater will be focused Software feature s, for Home Energy Management System League.

Scrum Masters are key leadership positions in a global organization and part of the Agile Excellence Chapter.

Role overview:
  • Guide the squad focusing on creating high value releases Partner with Product Owners to ensure strategy and execution alignment
  • Be key facilitators of squad(s) rituals & key events
  • Drive continuous improvement by coaching Squads and Squad members in Agile methodologies to maximize efficiency and self-improvement , and drive change management
  • Identify , escalate, and help find resolutions to Squad obstacles
  • Master Agile processes and fine tune them to Squad needs (e.g., mixing Scrum & Kanban to manage maintenance & development) while providing tools and methodologies to accelerate Squad delivery

Job responsibilities

Enable execution in alignment with the strategy and the backlog
  • Work with Product Owners and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
  • Guide the Squad with respect to priorities and scope , focusing on creating high value releases
  • Assist with decision-making by facilitating feature estimation by teams

Identify and manage interdependencies
  • Map interfaces between Squads of the same league or different leagues & propose synchronization strategy
  • Ensure good synchronization between HW & SW Squad

Foster effective working relationship between Product Owner, Agile Squads and stakeholders
  • Ensure Product Backlog is easily accessible and understood by the Squad and other stakeholders
  • Ensure both Product Owner and Squad actively participate in decision making regarding commitment to scope and schedule
  • Identify techniques for product goal definition and effective product backlog management

Support the Squad

  • Create and sustain an environment of trust and openness
  • Ensure Squad focuses on excellence in product quality and customer value , taking kaizen events (e.g., retrospective) seriously and put ting a sincere effort in to follo w-u p actions
  • Ensure Squad transparency by setting-up relevant KPI's and visual management on backlog, risks, planning, etc. using suitable tools and techniques

Help remove impediments

  • Understand impact of roadblocks and implement effective risk response plans , ensuring the Squad can respond to required changes and new unplanned requests in an effective manner

Promote Agile values, culture and practices
  • Promote continuous improvement and challenge status-quo
  • Enable the Squad to improve efficiency and quality of deliverables by following Agile development best practices
  • Secure and promote the values of the selected framework , self- organization and self-management

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience (2 years of product or project development experience would be advantageous )
  • Strong facilitation techniques
  • Ability to build and lead Squads in a matrix
  • Promotes Agile values and principles
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
  • Knowledge of an Agile Framework ( i.e. Scrum, Kanban), and knowledge of at Agile at Scale frameworks ( i.e. SAFe , Scrum at Scale, Nexus)
  • Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery Squads
  • Qualifications in PM are highly desirable

NOTE: This role requires occasional traveling | 2-3 times per quarter, mostly in Europe
