Your role and responsibilities
The work model for this role is onsite. This role is contributing to Process Automation Business Area based in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Job Type: Part-Time Traineeship You will mainly be accountable for: Helping senior staff to make decisions. Taking part and assist in internal initiatives and projects to continuously improve financial accounting and reporting processes and tools. Performing assistance in various accounting activities, applying techniques and standards to the classification and recoding of financial transactions. Performing quality checks on financial records in ERP system in line with the assigned areas, including fluctuations monitoring. Providing support in preparing accurate and timely financial reports. Assisting with data gathering, possibly data entry, and basic financial analysis to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial statements. Assisting in maintaining the general ledger as well as subledgers in terms of reconciling accounts and records. Supporting in resolving discrepancies and identify potential errors in financial records. Maintaining relevant transaction documentation within the assigned areas, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Performing accounting analyses and prepares reports, as assigned. Providing support during internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and readily accessible.

Qualifications for the role
- Undergraduate Degree in Finance/Accounting
- Sound Knowledge of English
- Good knowledge of accounting / managerial accounting / taxes / financial analytics
- Strong communication skills
- Constant seeking knowledge and learning opportunities within the team
- Demonstration of curiosity and high sense of responsibility
- Ability to concentrate and be precise, detail-oriented
- Communication - to communicate with senior staff, ask questions and share reports. Interaction with stakeholders, including GBS.
- Openess, demonstration of a positive attitude, loyalty and enthusiasm.
- Numerical abilities - make calculations and work out formulas quickly;
- Computer skills - use of a computer and accounting software/tools to manage records. Good knowledge of commonly used software and computer programs, including word processing, spreadsheet and presentation programs. Knowledge of Excel logical functions.
- Integrity - work with a company's financial data, maintaining the confidentiality of this information. Strong work ethics.
- Analytical skills -identify trends in data. Indntification of discrepancies or inaccuracies in records.
- Efficiency and proactivity - apply the knowledge learned during the studies across the job tasks. Use initiative and make suggestions.
