Jr Strategic Buyer
Airswift is looking for a Jr Strategic Buyer (minimum 1 year contract, can be extended) to work on an outsourced contract in Rio de Janeiro with a major O&G operator.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing and issuing consultations, conducting tender evaluations, negotiations and preparing award recommendations.
- Carry out demand and market analysis in local markets.
- Support and ensure compliance with the company's supply chain management processes, with a specific focus on integrity due diligence, human rights assessments, security and commercial risk.
- Conduct and execute contract management, from award to contract closure, with a focus on minimizing value leakage, risks and promoting safety.
- Proactively ensure high quality stakeholder management, both internally and in relation to suppliers.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics or a related field. Candidates in their final semester who will obtain their bachelor's degree within the next six months can also apply
- Relevant experience in purchasing and contract management.
- Advanced English (required)
- Good knowledge and experience in supply chain, including sourcing and setting up contracts; relevant experience in drilling, well and intervention scope will be a plus.
- Knowledge of Brazil's legislative environment and contractual agreements.
- Good knowledge of the Brazilian supplier market and understanding of the establishment and promotion of local content.
