This position reports to
Finance Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide accounting, reporting, and consolidation expertise. Each day, you will support in accounting and reporting matters to business/reporting units through resolution of accounting and reporting questions, financial statement preparation and review follow-up on accounting issues. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting in the preparation of financial reports in compliance with internal guidelines, procedures, and external regulatory requirements. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Motion NEMA Motors business in Tlajomulco. You will be mainly accountable for: • Understanding the forming of Bills of Materials as related to finished goods as entered in the accounting software. • Monitor the financial performance of the company, analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions. and perform cost accounting activities including cost allocation, cost analysis, and inventory valuation. • Understand, and explain absorption situation vs planned according to production targets. • Strong understanding of cost elements, and its impact to specific portions of the P&L. • Prepare and analyze financial reports related to cost accounting, and conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data. • Fully responsibility of the Cost associated portion of a P&L -COGS (to obtain STD mg) to COS (to obtain Gross Mg) -. • Assist in the development and implementation of cost control measures, monitor and analyze variances between actual costs and budgeted costs.

Qualifications for the role
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting.
- Strong understanding of standard cost accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial reports and data accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of numerical data.
- Advanced English is required
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines and have a positive attitude and actively seeks ways to help employees and company.
