One of our clients is looking for an experienced Renewable Power Paralegal with a strong background in contract and agreement review within the renewable energy sector, particularly for wind, solar, and battery storage projects. This role requires at least two years of experience in legal support for renewable energy projects, focusing on the construction and operational stages.

Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze contracts and agreements related to renewable power projects, ensuring legal accuracy and compliance.
Support projects across various stages, including development, construction, and operation.
Collaborate closely with legal teams to manage agreements for assets, ensuring diligence and precision.

Required Experience:
Minimum of 2+ years in the renewable energy sector, with specific legal support experience in wind, solar, or battery storage projects.
Strong familiarity with agreements relevant to renewable energy assets, including:
Land option and lease agreements
Power purchase and hedging agreements
Equity option and royalty agreements
Financing, purchase, and sale agreements
Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts
Equipment purchases agreements
Indigenous benefits agreements
Insurance and tax equity or credit transfer agreements

Qualifications:
Ability to work remotely with a flexible schedule.
Highly detail-oriented, with excellent analytical and document review skills.
Strong proficiency in managing complex agreements for renewable energy projects.
