Duties and responsibilities
• Implement the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) activities within the project(s).
• Plan and supervise the project Quality Control (QC) activities.
• Report to department manager project information and data in line with Company Guidelines.
• Act as focal point for QA/QC related matters within projects.
• Collect weekly and monthly Quality site activities reports from the contractor’s QA/QC supervisors.
• Prepare and submit monthly site quality activities report to the department manager /project coordinator.
• Define and create the project quality control plans and procedures in accordance with company quality management.
• Agree quality inspection, test and control plans with both the 3rd party inspectors-TPIs and the contractor.
• Plan/coordinate with the contractor the QC activities aimed at addressing requirements specified by the field project coordinator.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Coordinate and hold regular meetings with contractor’s QA/QC supervisors to ensure site QA/QC reports, inspections, tests, control plans and activities are notified and being performed as per the project quality system and its set Procedures.
• Create and agrees applicable operating procedures and equipment to be used in inspections, tests, and controls with both the 3rd party inspectors-TPIs and contractor.
• Review Applicable NDE, QC procedures, including those relating to special processes.
• Ensure with Engineering department/Construction section that all material and equipment are correctly received, stored, identified, traceable, preserved and handled (if needed).
• Manage the orderly collection and completeness of all certifying tests/ inspection/control reports for construction activities, including mechanical completion report, and their relevant compliance to specified requirements, ensuring that they are recorded, filed and traceable.
• Follow up with both the contractor’s QA/QC supervisors, the 3rd party inspectors and construction superintending that inspection/control/test reports are verified, recorded, filed and traceable.
• Verify that tests, controls, and inspections are carried according to the procedures, project quality plan and with 3rd party inspectors-TPIs.
• Provide specialist support to the Project coordinator in Interfacing between the company, contractor and third parties.
• Ensure the correct application and, whenever necessary, the update of site quality control plans/procedures.
• Ensure the implementation of QA/QC training programs in projects sites.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Ensure management of nonconformities with both contractor’s QA/QC supervisors and TPIs, that the functions responsible keep non-conforming products under control.
• Ensure The contractor’s QA/QC supervisors preparation of the quality section of the final test pack document. In case of subcontracted activities, receive and review the QC section of the test pack document.
• Collect and analyze project QA/QC data and submit to department manager and project coordinator.
• Perform any other work orders required by the company in projects and planning/projects matters.
• Support the department manager and project coordinators in the management of lesson learned.
• Ensure with plan and conduct project internal audits at sites as per the Project Quality Plans.

o BSc Engineering or similar
o Painting or welding specialist (certified)
o Good level of the English language to execute the job Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in a quality discipline relating to Inspection/Quality working with pipe fabrication and construction.

o Know how to operate/utilize painting and sandblasting QC tools.
o 7+ years of experience
