This position reports to
M&S Finance Manager APAC
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead local finance teams and act as a business partner to the Marketing, Sales, or Service business manager to optimize financial performance for the organization under scope. Each day, you will support in making effective business-decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending the most appropriate solutions to management. The work model for the role is: hybrid This role is contributing to the Smart Power and Smart Building Division in Taiwan. Main stakeholders are Division Manager. You will be mainly accountable for: • Contributing to the definition of strategy for the responsible Sales, Marketing, or Service organization. • Serving as a key partner for the relevant business leader in determining strategy for your own area of responsibility and developing a global business model, aligning with wider strategy, implementing, and adjusting the implementation plan, as needed. • Driving appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization, and capital efficiency with special focus on profitability, demand analysis, go-to-market, Return on Investment (RoI), and sales efficiency. • Ensuring timely and efficient communication with relevant internal customers to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality and efficiency for your area of responsibility.

Qualifications for the role
- Degree in Business/Finance/Accounting
- Experience in working in a controller role - responsibility of P&L
- ERP exposure - SAP
- Able to work independently and also be a strategic member of a team.
- Able to analyse, problem solve and give appropriate guidance for corrective actions
- Guide the business unit to make sound business decisions and maximise orders, revenue, profitability
