This position reports to

Your role and responsibilities

• Identify and build solid networks with Universities, Student associations and subject specific networks in Canada (i.e. engineering associations, female student networks, etc.). Responsible for on-campus strategy, resulting in recruiting events and other brand-building activities for early talent and business partners to participate in. • Actively review university partnerships, based on skills being sought by the business to ensure strategy is positively impacting candidate pipeline for full-time, rotational and internship pro-grams. • Set up, promote and contribute to finalize other initiatives and programs that support the pipeline of early talents and professionals for ABB Canada. Such as collaborating with talent acquisition on attracting and pipelining for interns, innovating the way we attract candidates and intern conversion to full-time roles. • Branding: Make sure materials and digital platforms are on brand and regular social media campaigns and posts are performed to attract suitable candidates for the business in Canada. • Create and maintain cadence for feedback from stakeholders including business, HRBP's, talent acquisition and program participants. To assess their satisfaction with the collaboration and support received from the early talent team. • Partner with the ABB global ambassador project team to effectively manage the Canada talent ambassador program, ensuring all ABB businesses are participating in university events. • Build, maintain and deliver plan for consistent communication between early talent and busi-ness partners, key stakeholders, HRBP's and talent acquisition team. • Manage the given budget.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's in Business/HR/Communications or relevant experience in a related field and experience in Employer Branding and/or University Relations
  • Good knowledge of the local campus recruitment environment, branding and communications, ideally developing marketing and social media campaigns and plans. Active work experience with the major Social Media channels is considered a plus.
  • End-to-end process thinking and experience of managing projects.
  • Very good communication skills, strong customer service orientation, with the ability to network with and influence senior Business and HR leaders.
  • Professional French knowledge, both written and oral. English will also be necessary in this role as you will be supporting and communicating regularly with people across Canada and in the USA.
  • Team spirit, self-driven, resilient, energetic, enthusiastic and inclusive; creating or responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs.
