We're looking for an experienced Financial Controller to support a multinational company in the oil & gas and energy sectors, managing financial operations across Mexico and the U.S.

This role is critical to maintaining sound financial practices, aligning departmental budgets, and supporting strategic growth. If you thrive on financial planning and control and have a strong background in the industry, this position is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead annual budgeting and financial planning processes across departments.
• Establish and manage departmental budgets to align with the company's business objectives.
• Oversee credit management and investment resources for new business opportunities.
• Supervise cash flow, ensuring accurate reporting in financial statements.
• Evaluate project budgets, performing regular financial analyses.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Generate financial reports and profit/loss statements for senior leadership review.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of financial management experience, ideally in oil & gas or similar industries.
• Proficiency in MS Office (advanced Excel), project management, and organizational development.
• Intermediate English.
• American visa (B1/B2 tourist visa or work visa) required for potential travel to U.S. offices.
• Additional certifications in fiscal legislation, advanced financial training, or project management are a plus.
