PROJECT MANAGER

Education:


Bachelor’s degree in electrical/ mechanical/ chemical/ Industrial Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety from a reputed university. The masters in respective field will be a competitive edge.


Certifications:


Should be CMIOSH (Chartered Member) having NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or Certified Safety Professional (CSP). Also, should have international certifications in Risk management & Risk assessment.


Experience & Qualifications:

  • Should have minimum 15 years of experience in development and implementation of HSE Management System, in accordance with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards. He should have completed similar project in either in Qatar, GCC or Internationally.
  • Should have required project management, leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, decision-making, teamwork and risk management skills. Must have international certifications in Project Management, risk management and HSE Management systems.
  • Should adhere to the applicable codes of conduct and standards of practice, respect the confidentiality and privacy of the organization's information, avoid conflicts of interest and bias, and act with integrity and honesty.
  • In depth knowledge and expertise in international / local HSE regulations and standards to navigate complex compliance requirements and minimize potential legal risks.
  • Should be able to develop a HSE management system plan that aligns with the organization's vision, mission, values, and goals.
  • Provide guidance and support on the implementation of the HSE management system, including policies, procedures, processes, roles, responsibilities, and resources.
  • Have experience in risk-based management system consulting work with critical/complex global projects.
  • Shall be able to mentor staff, interface with client, lead project, interpret the building code, develop solutions & prepare deliverables technical reports and specifications/drawings.
  • A strong understanding of risk management principles.
  • PM shall have the ability to lead others, manage projects and make presentations to small groups or teams.
  • PM should have an ability to prepare and present reports and recommendations on the HSE management system performance and improvement opportunities.
  • Should have strong verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
