Global BL Controller, Marine Systems
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will play a crucial part in advancing the company's strategic objectives. Each day, your contributions will positively impact business operations as you collaborate closely with various departments. You will also have the opportunity to enhance your expertise through participation in the comprehensive Global Trainee Program. You will be working within the Marine & Ports Division, Process Automation Business Area team in Singapore. The program is made up of three assignments in different roles. 1) One nine-month assignment in your home country as an introduction to the business. 2) One six-month assignment abroad to get an overview of ABB's operations in a different environment/role and work on an exciting assignment with a different team, expanding your network. 3) One nine-month assignment back to the home country/home business, where you will deepen your knowledge of the business and of your function. The last rotation will also be the time where the participants start to look for their final position, to be started after the end of the program. Depending on your specific assignment, your responsibilities may include: • Perform projects financial analysis including but not limited to cost control, revenues, profit and cash flow forecast • Perform analyses of business performance versus history and forecast and proposes improvement actions • Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings and analyses • Participating in month-end close processes, financial planning/forecasting and other business controlling related tasks

Qualifications for the role
- You are a recent graduate (preferably Master's level) in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related fields
- Ideally you have some professional experience in a finance-related function such as Controlling or Audit.
- Fluent in English language, other languages are a plus
- You are an effective communicator with strong oral and written skills.
- Ability to demonstrate good understanding of accounting principles and financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow analysis.
- You are proficient in IT, with advanced skills in Excel. Experience with SAP or Power BI is a plus.
- You thrive in a team environment, have a global perspective, and are eager to learn and open to new ideas, persistent, and curious.
- You are passionate about developing a career in Finance and Controlling.
