This position reports to

Business Manager - Operations

Your role and responsibilities

In this position, you will primarily focus on our portfolio of newly developed motors such as Permanent Magnet motors (PM) and Synchronous Reluctance Motors (SynRM). You will be responsible for keeping your colleagues updated on developments, and you will be responsible for identifying, establishing, and developing customer relationships with new and existing customers. ABB has a strong focus on digitalization and the green shift. In this position, you will take part in this through development related to electrification, hybrid solutions, and energy systems. The position involves travel in connection with customer meetings, trips to production units, and assistance at customer sites.

Qualifications for the role

  • Relevant bachelor's, master's degree, or equivalent.
  • Experience with motors, frequency converters, and automation systems will be an advantage.
  • The position covers several different areas of expertise linked together in our product and system deliveries. The ability to acquire new knowledge and a desire to deliver good results are important qualities when we describe you as our new employee.
  • Good communication skills are important as the position requires collaboration across the entire organization. This applies both locally in Norway, but also globally towards factories and international customers. Therefore, it is a prerequisite to be fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
