Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in scheduling equipment contract packages and executing the procurement plan.
- Participate in preparing detailed estimates and control budgets.
- Prepare commercial terms and conditions for contracts and purchase orders.
- Conduct surveys for local and international material/equipment availability.
- Ensure compliance with client procurement policies and legal obligations.
- Establish Quality Assurance methods and procedures.
- Coordinate with other disciplines and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
Essential skills and knowledge
More about you:
- A minimum of 5 years' procurement experience with significant experience in mining projects
- High-level negotiating skills and problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels both within and outside the organisation.
- Experience working with Engineering, Construction, Project Management and other services.
