Electrical Engineer Critical Infrastructure & Datacenter project (on site)

TRACTEBEL-Engie Chile, is seeking an Electrical Engineer (above +10 years of experience) to join our engineering team in Santiago.
Candidates must have english language skills to work in a multicultural environment and international projects (Interview will be in English language).
Responsibilities:
- Design and Engineerings Support: Provide expertise in design and field engineering, supporting each project phase from initial planning until commissioning.
- Documentation and Review: Prepare and review project documentation, including technical drawings, budgets, schedules, and commissioning reports. Ensure all records meet required standards and are submitted for project review.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and project teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination across all project areas.
- Technical Guidance: Offer direct support to the Client's operations teams, defining and overseeing electrical design requirements to meet regional and project Owner's standards.
- Site-Specific Adaptation: Address engineering requests, manage project-specific issues, and resolve technical challenges in collaboration with the engineering team to meet project requirements.
- Localization Engineering: Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new technology, and adapt designs to meet local (standards and project specifications.
- Quality Assurance and Control: Maintain high standards in quality and control procedures, support vendor teams in technical resolutions, and oversee testing and commissioning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Eng. or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience involved in industrial critical projects (GIS Substation, data center, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, oil & gas, petrochemical, laboratory, power, water etc.).
- Understanding of GIS & AIS Substations, HV systems, MV systems, LV systems and distribution, UPS, MV & LV distribution, busducts, diesel generator and local National (chilean) electrical normatives.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems in large-scale construction projects and ability to oversee multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- Full professional fluency in English and Spanish is required. As it's need to communicate complex technical concepts clearly with international stakeholders, vendors, and teams.
- Proven track record in hyperscale data center and mission-critical projects, preferably within the data center or Electrical Industrial projects.
- Physically able to work on site construction environment
