Your role and responsibilities

ABB Marine & Ports is transforming the industry through electrical, digital and connected solutions. Our innovative technologies are redefining the future, bringing new levels of reliability, efficiency and sustainability to shipping while making our ports and terminals safer, greener and more productive. You will be part of Marine IT Operational Team working on Remote Diagnostic System (RDS). RDS is already installed worldwide, on board over 250 vessels. Dedicated solutions enable monitoring of physical assets in the power and propulsion chain, enabling remote troubleshooting and diagnostics which leads to reduced or prevented downtime. ABB Marine on youtube: https://youtu.be/0hWI7RJJ0p8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDFNkAq6cYM Your responsibilities: • Assist with global technical support for RDS (Remote Diagnostics Services) installed base • Helping with RDS installed base maintenance and performing supervised periodical checks over a remote connection • Keeping project-related data up to date • Support deployment of new features on industrial sites • Site to cloud data flow maintenance • On-line software commissioning • Work in a cross discipline team, using agile development methodology that requires active participation in all team's activities. • Work in an international team and communicate in English on daily basis. Qualifications for the role

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with data flows in modern cloud architectures, preferably Azure
• Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP), Windows operating system, and databases
• Experience with BI tools, preferably Power BI will be a strong asset
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Ability to solve problems, strong analytical skills, attention to detail is essential
• Knowledge of Marine domain and/or basic knowledge of industrial automation systems would be an advantage
